I use this same chair at work. I liked the way it felt all day long so I bought it again for my daughter to use in her college dorm room. Her back was hurting after doing school work from her desk but after her chair she no longer has back issues.

the back support is hard the mesh is not as soft as originally thought miss having a cushion on the seat. I had to add a lumbar support pillow as the hard plastic that is the lumbar support on the chair became painful. Not good for desk if you have to sit for a long time...

Functional and comfortable

Our previous chair was shedding little pieces of a thin leather type material and needed to be replaced. We wanted one quickly to replace it so I was limited to what was in stock. Mostly you find one you like and buy one in a box with some assembly required. This one was very comfortable and had all the features we expected with height adjustments recline and lumbar adjustments. The mesh seating and back are comfortable and provide good support while keeping your back and seat cool. Since they had two of this same model on display I was able to buy one of them already assembled.

Hyken Chair is almost perfect

The Hyken chair is amazing except that the head rest will not adjust very much. I’m on the taller side and the head/neck rest won’t go up high enough to accommodate. That said the chair is solid I would strongly recommend.

I give it 4 stars only because...it just doesn't fit me like I expected. I went to the store and sat in it....but not long enough to know that it was going to bother my back. I am using it but with cushions....which I was hoping to get rid of.
