This chair has helped to ease my husband's back pain and back spasms. It has been life changing. He sits in it over 10 hours a day. It's a great chair. We are very happy with it.
I brought home the Staples Hyken Mesh Office chair a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for an affordable task chair that would sit me up straight behind my laptop. They only had the red model in stock but I was quite pleased with it’s sharp contrast to all the black equipment surrounding me. I tried out many chairs and kept coming back to this Hyken chair. I found the mesh quite comfortable with just the right “give” for my 6’ 220 lb frame. The “S” curve back with a lumbar support that has minor adjustment capabilities was just what I was looking for. In the upright position the back sits me up straight helping to keep me engaged at whatever task was at hand. It does allow you to release the lock and lean back and then lock the reclining back at multiple angles for that little break in the action. The head rest rotates but has a limited range for vertical adjustments. Could use another inch or so. Great chair for the price. Look for it when it goes on sale and you’ve got a deal!
This chair is adjustable so it might work for other body types just as well but I often have trouble getting enough lumbar support and this chair works perfectly for my lower back. I'm a small-framed person and it fits me perfectly in every way. The appearance is also great. The chair can be upright or it can recline and it's easy to move from the locked upright state to the reclined state. I am sitting in it now and just reclined after writing that as if to prove it to myself and it's also really comfortable to recline in!
I got this chair on the recommendation of a co-worker for remote work. It is a huge upgrade from the wooden chair I was using. It’s very comfortable and highly recommend for anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive chair for a remote work upgrade.
