Ended up upgrading the wheels to castor wheels & has been a lot better. The wheels that come with the chair are garbage. The chair is ok for the price. Wish it had the option to recline a little.

I needed a desk chair at home that was better ergonomically than the wooden chair I was using. I read good reviews of this Helen chair on Wired Magazine and the promotional price convinced me to buy it. Did not take long to assemble the chair and the instructions were well done. My only complaint is the lumbar support. I would prefer no lumbar support or support that I could move farther up the back of the chair.

Challenging to assemble Headrest is unusable

This chair is not straightforward to assemble even with an extra person to help. It requires an elevated surface that's not too wide (wooden chair but not table) to rest the seat on inverted while installing the base and back. Fine. Got through it. I opted for the version with the headrest for head and neck support. The slider mechanism on the headrest has slots which slip very easily. So every time I lean back I have to raise the headrest position to my desired height. Every. Time. I. Lean. Back. Annoying enough that I'm considering just taking off the headrest. Would consider returning this but considering the hassle of installation that last thing I want to do is disassemble return and reassemble another chair only to find similar/different issues. If possible try out chair in store before buying/ordering.

I love the mesh design. I suffer from excessive flatulence and this chair allows air circulation under my cheeks that traditional leather or plush upholstery just can't hold a candle to. Big recommend for anyone who would normally need to change their chair towel daily in a traditional chair. I have been chair towel-less since I bought it and I am loving the mesh life.
