i dont see anything special about this chair. i think its like any other mesh chairs. i feel the leather chairs are more cozy and comfortable. also the chair is on the smaller side. i am 5'10" and the headrest was poking my shoulders. i has to do the hack to flip it over and fix.
I've been working from home for over 25 years. I lost count of how many chairs I've gone through. This is by far my favorite. I poo-poo'ed the neck support ever since it was a thing. What a dummy I was. The neck support is perfect for all the zoom sessions we find ourselves on these days. I really like that the back locks like a car seat where you want it. Not a single position like every chair I had before. That plus the neck rest are aces. This chair is totally worth the few extra bucks. Assembly was ok but a little harder than average. The bolts are tough to get in. One of them I only managed to get in 1/2 way. Well the other 3 for that part are in all the way so no worries.
The Hyken Mesh Task Chair is very comfortable and supportive but the headrest is useless because it does not touch the back of your head unless you slouch down into the chair.
