Love this Hyken chair

My husband has a bad back--4 compression fractures--and he absolutely loves this chair. Feels it's the most comfortable one out of all the places to sit. (And we have a very nice Ekornes lounger.) I originally bought the chair for me it for me but he loves it so much I have "gifted" it to him. It's a few years old and has held up very well.

Excellent back and neck support

Reclining back (adjustable tension) adjustable head rest and the lower back support are superb!! I sit at my my desk 8 hours. This chair allows me to recline and shift my pressure points I can even take a quick 5 minute relaxation break in it. Arms don't go up and the seat pan is slightly short for my 5'10" (only minimally adjustable) but I still give it 5 stars for comfort and support. No back neck or hip discomfort after 2 weeks of use for this senior.

Decent chair… but

So far after the two days I’ve had it no complaints of it being a chair. But for $300 you would expect the quality control to be at least somewhat existent. The bolt holes for the head rest are canted and off center by at least half inch. The backrest of the chair is canted to the right as well. Not very pleased with that. Feels like I’m constantly leaning to the right and back and my head only makes contact with the let side of the head rest.

Short headrest

The chair is comfortable except the headrest only reaches my upper back and that is uncomfortable. I am 6 feet 1 inch tall and the height of the headrest is much too short for me. I have decided to remove it from the chair. Other than that I am liking the chair.

Cheap material

Good back support. Hard plastic on sides of seat are a little uncomfortable. Mesh seat broke after 6 months not covered by warranty. Do not recommend.
