Style meets comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this office chair for several weeks now and I can confidently say it has transformed my work-from-home setup. The ergonomic design offers excellent lumbar support and the adjustable height and tilt features make it easy to customize for long hours at my desk. The seat cushion is firm yet comfortable providing just the right balance for extended sitting. The breathable mesh back keeps me cool and the smooth-rolling wheels make it easy to move around my workspace without scratching the floor. Assembly was straightforward with clear instructions and the build quality feels solid and durable. On top of that the sleek modern design looks great in my home office. If you’re looking for a comfortable supportive and stylish chair that’s also a great value for the price this is definitely worth considering!

the chair is very good, but the lumbar cushion sticks out a lot, WAY TOO MUCH, you can't minimize, only maximize it, and the lowest "setting" is very extended, to the point where you feel like you will slip off the chair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comfortable and customizable office chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Staples Hyken Pro Black Chair daily for over a week now and I have to say it is the most comfortable office chair I have ever sat in. I love the design and look of this chair. It looks modern and a lot like other high end brands. I work from home in my home office and have always had a basic office chair to sit in. After switching to this new Hyken pro chair the comfortable and ergonomics are undeniably better in every way. This chair has a very comfortable bottom cushion firm and supportive back/neck and sturdy arm rests. You can adjust just about every aspect of this chair to make it feel perfect and comfortable to you. From arm rest height to back and neck adjustments my favorite ergonomic feature is the adjustable lumbar support and the super pillowy bottom cushion. And every adjustment is easy and intuitive to adjust. I was able to make this chair fit me perfectly and so comfortable. As I work from home I often sit in this chair for hours on end and I am so happy with how comfortable it is for long periods of time. I do not feel fatigued or sore after sitting in this chair. I would highly recommend this office chair to friends and family that are looking for an nice modern looking and comfortable/ergonomic office chair.

A Solid Ergonomic Desk Chair with Some Caveats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hyken Pro Black Chair is a great value for the money. Prior to receiving this chair I’d been using a different ergonomic desk chair that cost nearly 10x more than the Hyken and it surprised me to find so many similarities between the 2 chairs. The seat is nicely padded and the seat back and neck support are made of a flexible knitted mesh for air flow and ventilation. The chair allows for micro-adjustments in seat and arm height lumbar support and recline which makes for a super customized comfortable position. I’ve used the chair at my dining room table to work from home and also at my home office desk and in both situations I was able to easily position myself. I sit at my computer for 7-8 hours a day and this chair was comfortable for the duration. The neck support is a welcome addition. My prior desk chair didn’t have one and I’ve discovered that it’s nice to have head and neck support when I lean back. Now for the cons. While I did find the instructions simple and parts nicely organized it was still pretty difficult to put together. The pieces are bulky and heavy and because the instructions direct the user to assemble the chair upside down until the last step it’s hard to find a surface that accommodates the angles of the arm rests. If you’re not tall or able to lift or hold heavy items in place while you screw them together you may need a second person to help with assembly. The other 2 cons are aesthetic in nature. The chair’s base is a silver color and made from molded plastic. It feels heavy duty enough and I know it’s meant to look like metal but it winds up looking cheap when viewed up close. Maybe a different color way would hide this a little better? Lastly the arm rest pads are way too firm for my preference. I don’t find it comfortable to rest my elbows on them for any length of time and wish they had more give/cushion. All that said it’s a reasonably priced ergonomic desk chair that has a lot going for it.

Great adjustability and value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with chronic joint pain I’m thrilled with how effortlessly this chair adjusts to my needs. I frequently need to change positions throughout the day and this chair makes that a breeze. The lumbar and neck support are also very nice. I’m 5’ 6” and found the size perfect but if my 6’ tall husband needs to borrow the chair it’s quick and easy to adjust the chair for his height. The arm rests have a pleasant subtle cushion-like feel and the construction is solid and sturdy. It was fairly straightforward for me to assemble (although you do need to find a table or raised surface to work on). Considering the comfort is comparable to my other desk chair which cost over twice as much the value is excellent.

Breathable office chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'd give this chair 3 stars and here's why. First the pros: This chair is definitely breathable and even for extended periods of sitting in it my back stayed nice and cool. It is also super adjustable in many different areas so it can meet your needs. I was so happy that aside from the overall height being adjustable the arm rests were adjustable in three different ways including the height so it was able to fit my desk height. I am 5"1 so my desk is on the shorter side so those adjustment features were definitely a plus for me. Now the feature that I used most and was disappointed with that led to three stars despite my over loving of this chair the adjustable recline. I loved this feature so much and used it often because when I wasn't actively using my computer I wanted to recline slightly to be more comfortable. However after a couple of days despite being in the locked position when I leaned back the chair was free reclining and I was startled. This soon happened again every so often to the point that now I am more aware every time I sit back just in case it is free reclining again. If this feature corrects itself than for sure this chair is 5/5. Overall this chair looks nice is comfortable breathable and highly adjustable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this in my home office and it is perfect for work from home days! I enjoyed the black sleek design. My wife also uses it during the weekends; we especially enjoy the many adjustments on the chair. It is perfect for eight-hour days. I highly recommend that you have a second person when putting it together it will make everything run smoothly. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the chair!
