Comfortable and supportive to sit on. But the recliner is a problem, the minimum recline setting before it will lock is too reclined. You cannot have just a little. The arm supports easily move , the little buttons on them seem to have no function. Putting it together, one step was a real pain, the connecting the back tot he seat. I have built many a chair in my time and it doesnt just slot in and bolt, you have to hold it level against each other on both axis and then insert bolt otherwise will crossthread. 2 man job, or in my case as wasnt second man availabe, alot of cursing and yelling.
Like the chair. This chair was easy to assemble, is not bulky and works well in the space I have. It is comfortable and for the price I paid it is worth it
Very comfy chair. I'm not a big person, but I am somewhat tall, and I needed a chair that would lift higher off the ground for my taller desk. The other Staples office chairs that I tried out in store didn't raise to the height that I needed, so this chair fit the bill perfectly. There's definitely extra width in the seat that I don't need, which just makes the chair more comfortable, in my opinion, and my desk/space will accommodate the extra width with the arm rests. Besides one issue, it was relatively straightforward to put together. One of the first instruction pages is missing the letter that points to first part that needs to be screwed to the bottom of the chair, but I eventually figured it out.
The chair seat is comfortable and padded, but the back is super angled like a recliner. offers no support if you're sitting straight up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not impressed

The lumbar support is not sufficiently adjustable. It is uncomfortable.
The manufacturer recommends either the XL or Pro variants for people taller than 6'. The XL has the larger range of height adjustment. But I'm 6'3" and the headrest is a neck rest at its highest position. Why the strange swinging adjustment rather than a simple sliding height adjustment?
To lock the seatback the height adjustment lever is pulled forward. It is too easy to accidentally push this back with my right leg when turning the chair to the left. So surprise reclining.

Hi Jason, thanks for replying to our product review request. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience. ^MS
My husband put these together ( We bought 5 as our dining room chairs). The 1st one took a while bc instructions are pictures, not words. But the rest were 15-20 minutes each.
They are very comfortable and adjustable several different ways, great for relaxing and sitting back in the morning with a 2nd cup of coffee. Visitors like them, too. Love that I could get them in red, complimenting the poppies decor.
How well they hold up is yet to be seen. We've only had them a month. Will update if we have problems, but like I said, so far...so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Front seat support is too hard

Front seat plastic edge cuts off circulation when seated. Head rest is too far forward and does not adjust enough. Back support pushes the head rest too far forward and does not recline well.
