A great chair especially when on sale. I have only two complaints: (1) you cannot easily adjust the length between the arm rests - basically where you bolt them in is how far apart they will be; and (2) you cannot adjust the depth of the chair (or only slightly again depending on where you fasten the bolts) so if you have long legs like me this may be a problem. The material is great if you tend to over heat easily - those who want to stay warm will want another material. This chair is great for people with back problems - I have chronic back pain made worse by kidney stones and this chair actually allows me to sit for an extended period of time because of all the adjustments possible.
I am a software developer and spend long hours in a chair. I have also bought many chairs in my career. I always buy leather chairs and almost didn't sit in this chair at the store but was drawn to it by its funky look with the head rest. As soon as I sat in it I knew that I had found the perfect chair. I have had the chair for a couple of weeks now and find that for the first time ever I am sitting up straight and not slumping at all. Very comfortable. If there was two of me I would buy another one right away.
Very high quality chair. Easy to put together--takes about an hour to do it right. Wife didn't care for the headrest and it's easily removable so we took it off. Very comfortable and the mesh back is good in the heat. Very good value especially if you can get it on sale.
I have been looking for a long time to find the right chair with both a mesh back and seat. This chair is very well constructed and the design is quite stylish. If I were a smaller framed person it would have been the perfect for fit for what I have been searching for so long. The seat is made with a hard plastic shell that surrounds the outer edge to create the frame for the mesh. The front of the seat is padded so no lack of comfort there however I'm a pretty big framed guy so my hip bones and the tops of my legs rest on the outer frame on the sides. It wasn't bad a first but after sitting in the chair for about 30 minutes I started to get some pretty severe pain in my hips. Unfortunately I had to give the chair to my son as he's not quite my size yet. I would say that this chair would be the perfect fit for someone with a small to medium frame especially if you're looking for a mesh seat and back.
This chair is comfortable especially if you have short legs as the seat is not as deep as most chairs. The lumbar support is adequate and the mesh breathes well. The three flaws I've noticed are: 1. There is no lever to lock into a reclined position. It's either full open or no recline. 2. There is no adjustment for the seat pitch. 3. If you are long in the torso the headrest may sit too low for you even though it has angle adjustment and a few inches of height adjustment. Otherwise as long as the mesh seat doesn't stretch and sag it seems like a good chair. I weigh around 165 and there is only an inch or so of space between the mesh and the seat's framework so if it sags at all that could prove very uncomfortable! Construction is solid and substantial overall. Armrests are padded but it is a very stiff padding. Not uncomfortable though.
I am a tech support agent for a major tech company. I work from home for this job. I'm sitting in my chair in front of my computer for 8 hours a day. Needless to say I need a great chair and needed a great price since I won't get reimbursed. I saw the great reviews for this chair and the discount so went for it. It is incredibly comfy. The best office chair I've ever owned. It was also easy to assemble. And it came a day early.
I've gone through many chairs in the price range up to $300 and have sold off all of them including the tempeurpedic which was hard and added pressure points to my hips. I'm 62 and 5'2". This one I'm finally happy with considering comfort. I only wish that the legs were all black the muted chrome is not attractive and scratches easily showing black underneath. Also the legs seem to stick out more that others hitting me in the heels when I swivel so beware to keep your legs out more when turning. The headrest has a little adjustment but does not raise up away from chair so may impact taller users. I'd also like the arms to be softer. The seat and back are extremely comfortable with good lower back support which I really need for my "sway" back. Back tilt rock or lock arms and raise/lower seat all have great adjustments available. Love this chair!
