Foam forming the front edge of the seat failed to stay in place soon after purchase. Initially would push it back into place and it would stay for a while. Progressively has gotten worse and now won't stay in at all - and results in the seat not being shaped correctly and not comfortable! Have spent too much time trying to make it work!

Why did I wait so long?

Just purchased the Staples Hyken Technical Mesh Task chair in red. The chair was delivered in the time they said it would be. My husband and I put it together with the use of his cordless drill. Was pretty easy to assemble. The hardest part was putting the wheels on but once he figured it out they went on okay. I love the mesh seat and back. Wonderful lumbar support. I don't know why I waited so long to purchase this kind of chair. I do a lot of sewing/crafting and at the computer doing genealogy. The mesh seat and back supports me without putting strain on my lower back and spine. Wonderful chair! I highly recommend it!

Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm only 5 feet tall and I wish the chair could be adjusted a little higher than it goes and due to the fact that it came in so many pieces. I'm glad I had my husband to help put it together. Since receiving it I sit in it 8-9 hours a day and no issues thus far.

EXACTLY what I was looking for!

Over the years I have had to put up with some really flaky chairs some selling for ridiculous amounts of money. And they all had the same things in common: the seat cushion was irritating the seat back provided almost no support leading to a lot of back pain and I always had to stick a small pillow to provide a token amount of lumbar relief. This chair had NONE of those problems! I bought it on New Year's Eve after testing over two dozen chairs on the showroom floor and in its third day of continuous daily use it is the undisputed chair champ! My purchase came after a virtually endless amount of research online - every chair that seemed to hold some promise fell apart when I read the reviews - even as I kept moving up the price points. I finally decided to go test out the chairs that were available in the real world instead of taking a chance on an online purchase - and I wasn't disappointed! I even dozed off in the chair and when I woke up there was none of the aches and pains that were indigenous to all the other chairs I had to live with. Get yourself one while it's still in stock!
