Chair is comfortable and sturdy. I wish the arms could be adjusted about 1/2" wider each side and the seat seems an inch or two on the shallow side. But I'm a big guy so it probably fits other well. The adjustments are simple and easy. One thing I'll rave about is the assembly process. Fantastic! One tool (a hex key provided) the color-coded screws all separately sealed in a their own packets in a strip that you open as you follow along in the assembly instructions. I can't tell you how simple and quick it made putting this chair together. Someone put some thought into that and I wish others would copy this method.
This chair was referred to me by my CPA and it is wonderful. The Staple Staff really were great from my telephone call to the in store service I received. The customer service was excellent and so was my customer experience. Thank you!
I’ve used this chair daily for about 3-4 years now. It is one of the few ergonomic chairs in my price range that ticks most of the boxes. Mesh seating Adjustable lumbar support Adjustable arm rests (though not quite as adjustable as I would prefer at least they are not fixed.) Height adjustable Seat depth is adjustable (for a short like me this disqualifies the majority of office chairs. I can’t have the circulation in my legs being cut off on a daily basis. Call me crazy but I refuse to compromise on that one!) Adjustable head rest Adjustable tilt - though I have mine adjusted to be quite stiff and prevent any kind of leaning back most of the time. I use the chair professionally so I really don’t need a chair that allows me to “recline on the job.” But hey if I were doing leisurely activities it’s nice to know the chair adjusts enough for me to lean back pretty far?) And it swivels! (Not the most important aspect but the most fun.) Others have complained of the seat giving in in the middle and I will report that that has not been my experience at all. After years of sitting in this chair daily for 8-16 hours at a time the mesh seat is still taut and supportive as day one. My one complaint though: max capacity as listed at 275 lbs. honestly it feels like they’re reaching with that estimate. While the chair may be able to hold the weight of a 275lb person without breaking… I do not think they would be comfortable for a long period of time in this chair. Those are 2 different things. I am a smaller woman somewhere between 5’1” and 5’6”. Weighing between 135 - 165 lbs. I would not recommend this chair for anyone over 6’ tall or for anyone weighing over 200 lbs.
This chair is great. Excellent lumbar and neck support super comfortable and not particularly difficult to put together—took maybe 30 minutes with two people to construct.
