The chair is fairly sturdy and well made compared to others in the price range I've tried. Solid lumbar support and comfortable if you sit properly but the bottom seat rails are narrow for anyone with above average thigh size. Cyclists / gym rats be aware! It appears well enough construction wise and the red color isn't bad considering it's red. I have some long term durability questions but it's cheap enough I won't be too angry if I get 18mo out of it.

When I sit in the chair it feels so comfortable and supportive it is just right for me. With long periods if sitting I am so happy I finally found a chair that I can sit in for 4 hours or more. I am glad I got a good quality chair at a very good price! This chair will not disappoint I would recommend it if you are on the fence.

Herman Miller-like Comfort for Half the Price

I am a software engineer who has experienced sitting in Herman Miller-like chairs for hours every day. While this Hyken chair is not a Herman Miller clone it has Herman Miller-like comfort but at a better price-point. Assembly was easy adjustments to my liking were easy and has great comfort for long periods of sitting (like coding or gaming).

I like the chair a lot however I do wish it had more adjustment for the lumbar. The arm rest...let's say the jury is still out on them. It would be nice if they could be lowered a little more with maybe a more padding; elbows get sore after a bit. All around I like this chair and may be purchasing a second for more fiance's sewing/craft room to replace that old leather chair. I did buy the extened warranty for this chair as it is a mesh chair and I am old school but willing to try something new.

I have FIVE of these chairs in my home only one of which is used as an “office chair.” They adjust to fit anyone and are comfortable without making the user sleepy. Always had one such chair; only these this many. They seem to last forever in good condition. Highly recommend to anyone (except to person who is very large) Note: Staples also assembles them at a very reasonable price Note #2: I always buy the warranty plan. Have used it on another office chair but never this one Very easy and honest.
