i dont see anything special about this chair. i think its like any other mesh chairs. i feel the leather chairs are more cozy and comfortable. also the chair is on the smaller side. i am 5'10" and the headrest was poking my shoulders. i has to do the hack to flip it over and fix.

Bought this after seating in chair that was on display. The chair comes in a neatly packed box. Assembly went well. Arrows are stamped on parts that should face forward during assembly (important)!

Like everyone else I suddenly found myself working from home. I've never used my normal desk chair for more than a couple of hours at a time and it was absolutely killing my back after suddenly needing to use it 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I got the Hyken chair yesterday and it was an immediate improvement. I'm not sure if I like the lumbar support yet (it feels a bit stiff-but it could need broken in/I need to used to it) but I'd definitely recommend this chair.

DO NOT BUY. THE MESH SEATING WILL SAG AND IT CAUSED ME BACK PAIN. LOT of people reported the same issue with this chair. You can find them in the reviews section. I bought my first Hyken Mesh Chair on August 2019 from Staples in Springfield PA. Few weeks after using this chair the mesh seat started sagging and I started having SEVERE LOWER BACK PAIN. I called Staples and they offered to send me this replacement chair since it was under warranty. I requested them for a store credit since I am afraid that the same replacement chair might make my back pain worse. But they were not able to help me out. I still haven't opened the replacement chair they send me. As a long term Staples customer I was disappointed in Staples. I bought a Staples brand chair that caused me back pain. After contacting Staples multiple times via chat in store and via phone didn't help me to get a store credit to buy a different chair.
