It only has padding in the front for your knees which fell out after a month. I put it back in but it kept falling out. It is hard as a rock and I have developed the worst sciatica from this chair and at one time could barely walk.

The airy mesh so far has cradled my heavy self. Initial adjustment of the seat and adjusting the levers resulted in great lumbar support and the headrest is great! Fairly easy to assemble and love it so far. We’ve had it for about a month.
