I had to remove the headrest because it couldn't be adjusted high enough. I'm 6' 1" tall. For a shorter person the headrest should be fine. It hit me in between my shoulder blades. The mesh is cold so I would prefer fabric. On the positive side I could adjust the armrests to fit and the chair high enough.

I actually picked this because of the color but I visited the store several times to sit in it and test it. No regrets. Love the chair. It's comfortable enough and adjusts to suit. Just trying to keep my cat off it!
