I made the mistake of sitting in this chair with my foot tucked under my leg and immediately popped the mesh out of place on one side. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE INSURANCE/WARRANTY FOR THIS CHAIR. I decided to be a little creative with my repairing of the chair and had to take the entire seat of the chair off to reveal a series of very poorly applied staples "trying" to hold the chair together. There were staples basically touching each other all the way around the chair and most were just smashed against the plastic and not even holding anything. None of the staples were securely in the plastic there were just so many of them they worked haphazardly. Anyway I made a few screw holes on each side of the chair bottom with some screws and secured the mesh to the plastic WITH SCREWS and now the chair is good as new. Still not worth the hassle. Buy a chair with a regular seat bottom and a mesh back. This one isn't sturdy enough to last.

I have purchased executive desk chairs for over 40 years some costing 10 times as much as this chair. The Staples Hyken Mesh Computer and Desk Chair is the most perfect chair I have ever had. It helps me have unbroken concentration on my work (versus less-comfortable chairs that don't support my back and arms). Incredible value (and it looks good in red).

I like many things about this chair- the breathable material is great for AZ The head rest is very comfortable. I like all the adjustments. Now for the dislikes- the chair seems high even in its lowest position this results in my legs just slightly hanging and the front edge pad digs into the underside of my legs. I’m trying to tilt it toward more but it’s not really working
