I really wanted to like this chair. Looks great and has similar features as many other higher-end chairs. It has also been fairly comfortable. Similar to many other individuals I purchased this chair in April with working from home during the pandemic. This first chair I purchased had a large snag in the mesh seat. I returned my chair at the my local staples for a replacement. Now six months later the chair is a mess. The head rest lumbar support and the plastic cover of the back support have all broken. I have not used this chair in any extreme way (it's only an office chair) and I am pretty small (~150 lbs.). So while it has been great it is not worth the money considering the condition after only 6 months.

The Hyken maroon mesh chair is first rate in every way--comfortable great lumbar support and everything adjusts to make you as comfortable as possible. And the service was very professional at the Ithaca NY store. The sales associate knew his stuff and was very helpful--but he also stepped aside so we could discuss our chair selection without feeling pressured. Great transaction and great value!
