Leakage a real problem

Duracell used to be the only brand we bought. In the past few years we have had major leakage issues with the AA and AAA. Sadly, not the quality they used to be. Will not be purchasing these again.
Have found that these batteries do not last any where near as long as the printed date on them. Put the batteries in my CD player (not used very often) and within a few months they are dead, yet the date on then says 2025
I bought these for my TI-83 calculator for school and they seemed to last forever! However, I recently went to change the batteries as they were dead and I find two out of four batteries leaked. So until I found the leak they worked as well as you can expect a battery too!
In the past few years Duracell has gone down hill. They are not really worth the cost when you consider ruining your devices. Case in point a fairly new expensive flashlight, ruined. The batts have a 2022 date on them. Years ago t hen worked fine, but lately they've gone down hill.
I bought a clock to use outside 2 years ago and used your batteries in it. This clock hangs outside all year round, it has never lost time and I haven't changed batteries yet..Wow over 2 years
Duracell batteries do not worth the money. It was a time that this brand was the best but since they release the newer type "quantum" the regular copper ones became trash. I can buy generic batteries for a fraction and they will last the same. Do not waste money.
We have lost 2 remotes that were used everyday and one very expensive flashlight due to battery leakage. The expiry date was for 2022!!! The $100 dollar flashlight, the battery ate through the metal prongs, so we checked our remotes and found all batteries have leaked. I will never purchase Duracell nor recommend their batteries unless you enjoy throwing away expensive belongings, and render Blu-Rays useless!!!
These AA and AAA batteries leak like craze y!!!!!!!! I installed the AA battery on Sept 2016 in a wall clock. Checked today and the battery leaked on the bottom. JUNK, JUNK, JUNK.
