They come with a 12 year guarantee in storage which is a great feature for including these in our hurricane kit. Always a good idea to have reliable batteries at the ready.

They last, and despite being more expensive, are worth the additional monies because they are dependable. I'm sure like any other battery, if left in a device for an extended period of time, they might leak (electricity and currents and all that, it's complicated). I haven't had issues with storing Duracell batteries and I trust them.

Duracell batteries cost more than other brands but it is worth it because you do not have to change batteries as often. I have never had any problems with Duracell batteries being defective or anything.

The "Power Boost ingredients" makes me wonder what makes these batteries different, and makes me wonder how longer will they last.
