Silky and smooth, the mouse is great, the comfort is nice and the materials are of goog quality. I'm happy with my purchase, and the case is something nice for the value of the device.

Pretty good, some short-comings

Decided to purchase one in black after having loved my regular MX master 3 for years. The quietness of the right and left mouse buttons are what the 3 should have been from the start, really love how quiet the 3S is.
In comparison to the 3 that is about where the pros run out. Everything else is either the same or inferior to the 3. When I say inferior, the biggest drawback to this 3S is the bolt receiver. Because of this I cannot use my MX keys keyboard unless I have to give up 2 USB ports on my work laptop (but if you can use bluetooth that may not be an issue for you). Sure maybe bolt is more secure than unifying, but to me the end user that is quickly over-ruled especially by the fact that there's no forward or backward compatibility for logi products that use the other one, so I'm never going to be able to tie my mx keys to the 3S's bolt receiver.
The black mouse looked pretty good out of the box, but after a couple weeks of use the rubber part almost looks like my gray mx master 3, while the Left/Right buttons are a plastic black. So it looks more two-tone than a gray mouse does.

It works, but what I really wanted was an update on the MX Master 3 to be compatible with the Logi Bolt USB receiver. I miss the clicking sounds.

Can't download the Logitech options to any of my computers which is a huge drawback for me. My work computer with Windows 10 won't allow it. My other 2 computers are a little older with previous generation of windows can't download it as it states that the computer is missing .dll files...
Mouse is good, great battery life, and I like the scroll wheel, but the other buttons and other scroll wheel are useless since I can't use the app. Mouse is quite yet satisfying on the clicks. Also, I couldn't get the Bluetooth connection on my work computer so thats one minor thing. I'm fine with the dongle.

Really wish I could use the mouse to it's full capabilities, but really disappointed about that. I am going to keep the mouse because it feel like it's a good quality and battery life seems good.
I don't strongly recommend this as it seems to be geared toward work use. If your IT dept at your job blocks outside apps, then much of the purpose for the mouse is lost in my opinion. Would like there to be a work around for this. Anyways, I most likely wouldn't have purchased if I had knew this and I should have done more research as I found later in reddit, other people complaining about the app.

Great little mouse

This mouse looks great and operates the same. Just the right amount of features to handle every day tasks and then some. I love the scrollwheel that free wheels when spun even without switching it to free wheel mode. If you need a good quality mouse, this one won't disappoint! Battery life is great too. I've had it for about a month now and it's at 55% and I use it a lot!
