Where Have You Been All My Life?
on March 3, 2023

I don't know how, but until I randomly stumbled upon this mouse, I didn't know infinite scroll was a thing. I have joint paint every morning in my middle finger from the click-click-click scroll of my previous mouse. This one is so much better!
Love the options to customize for specific programs. Comfortable, feels well built, and clicks are so silent you will wonder if you're really clicking at all.

Great mouse

Awesome mouse. Don't know how to explain it but it feels so much better and nicer than my stock Dell wired mouse and than my wireless Logitech m510 mouse.
The only con that I can think off is that sometimes the gestures/programmed buttons stop working. But Idk if it's the mouses fault or my work-managed computer.

Great mouse, Needs work on software

Smooth scroll wheel.
Easy to connect and works great switching between multiple devices.
Silent click is awesome too, a big leap from the previous version.
Option+ on Mac needs some work though, old devices remain as inactive even after deleted from the bluetooth.

It's silent
on March 2, 2023

Finally on its fifth version (if I'm counting correctly—original, 2, 2S, 3… 3S?) it's silent. This is awesome bc one of the (biggest) selling points of the MX keyboard is that it is not loud yet the mice have really been. Good for Logitech for listening (no pun) and making it all silent. Where there has been silence is in Logitech in regards with the supporting software for the hardware, unfortunately.
Logitech mentions it supports Linux, but it's really Linux that happens to support Logitech's hardware, there's no effort whatsoever in the part of Logitech. On the Mac, support for older Macs is gone, even the installers are dead links and it (as in Windows) is constantly communicating with servers regardless if you disable all "features" that might need a connection: settings sync, update checking and telemetry. On that last part, think about it; your keyboard is sending data to some server and has already shown it doesn't respect your decisions by ignoring your settings. Why? Furthermore, the option to refuse is "no, thank you" at install time. "Thank you"? For what? Was that a missed opportunity or something?. Even if you were OK with that, the servers it connects to are flagged as known trackers, thus a decent firewall will block them resulting in you being unable to log in to your account and issues like that. With UNIX solidly unsupported, there's only Windows which isn't great either, and more difficult to control what's going on behind the scenes. Then there's the line itself, Logitech is milking the MX moniker with noisy keyboard, "Mac" versions, you name it. When everything is special, nothing is special. It's kind of ironic for a company that literally makes things you touch, being so out of touch and I'm trying hard not to say "doesn't take your input", but there's like 3 meanings in there, all funny, sad and truthful.
Logitech makes AWESOME HARDWARE, that not even for debate. But it's meaningless if the software is non-existent on one side, and bad and lacking the most basic notion of privacy in the other.

Bolt Receiver is a nightmare
on March 1, 2023
Posted by: Anonymous
Bolt receiver can only handle the most basic situations. If I have the receiver connected to my kvm switch my mxkeys and mx master 3s disconnect when switching between devices and need to be re-paired. I have two bolt usbs and my keyboard is attached to one and the mouse to another and I can't get them to connect to the same one. On my work laptop I can't install the logi app because it requires admin privileges. Just a pain to set up and use. Shame since the mouse and keyboard are nice.

This mouse was everything that
on February 28, 2023

This mouse was everything that I expected, and more! The horizontal scrolling is a huge plus, especially in my line of work. However, there are some drawbacks. Unfortunately, my workplace does not allow for any external applications which renders this mouse ineffective. The horizontal scroll is onboard, but the other unique functions are not. Also, I notice a delay when moving the mouse from rest. It might not be noticeable to most, but I find it annoying. Lastly, the material used for the mouse is supurb. The mouse was constructed perfectly and feels great in my hand. I did notice some fatigue at first but after using a wrist pad helped improve my posture and accuracy.
