Poor documentation when choosing disk format. Not portable between MacOS and Windows.

I have no idea why a company that has a good reputation would continue to make this product. I have had it maybe three weeks now, use perhaps for a total of ten hours max and I like so many others am receiving error messages about Raid corruption (and possible data loss). The unit fails to boot often, will often not shut down even with the power button (and while on the subject of a power button why is the power button about as thin as a sheet of paper, almost undetectable unless you use a flashlight AND you potentially have to MOVE an activen drive to try and manuallu shut if off when it fails to turn itself off?). I knew it would be somewhat slow which is not a problem but I DID NOT trust the bad reviews based on your other products whihc have been fine. However, they were correct.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
