Constantly stops working, so frustrating!

We got this machine as a gift, and it stoped working after one month. They sent us a new one, free of charge. So I guess the customer service is ok if you have the patience to wait to get through on the phone (only way to contact them). The new machine worked a bit better, but good luck trying to make more than 2 cups at once; I think it overheats, so you’ll just get a sound, and then that orange light comes on, to tell you it’s not working. A bummer when you have guests and you want to make a fancy drink for them! Out comes the French press… We’ve had the replacement for about 9 months, and now it’s not working at all (sound, then orange light). I’ve descaled it many times, so this is not the reason. Also, it says to connect it to your wifi to register it and for the machine to get regular updates. We’ve never managed to do this. We get to the part of the process where you enter your wifi password. It then tells you to check the password… The password we enter IS correct. We have a strong wifi connection in the house, and all our other devices on all three floors have no problem connecting, so this is an issue with the machine, not the wifi. We had the same issue with the initial machine. It’s a very crappy piece of equipment, though the coffee IS good, when you’re lucky enough to get it to work. I’m also not very happy with the fact that you’re stuck with their proprietary coffee; since it reads the barcode on the capsule in order to determine volume of water etc., you can’t buy capsules that you fill with your own coffee. And to me, most of their coffee tastes the same, and it gets quite expensive. And after almost two years of Covid, they still use that as an excuse for longer than usual processing times (it takes about a week to receive the order).

Quick and Easy

Was a little confusing to figure out the Instruction booklet but once I did, preparing delicious coffee was easy. Complimentary pods with purchase was a nice way of taste testing different brews. I also like that the pods are re-cyclable.

Buyer be warned

Just had my second machine in 9 months stop working. The first lasted 4 months and then started leaking all over the counter instead of making coffee. They sent me a replacement, which lasted 5 months before now just displaying an error that the capsule either isn't recognized or is expired. Save your money and choose a different machine.

Worst Coffee Machine I've Ever Owned

Machine broke several times over the one-year warranty period. Nespresso never offered to replace it, until the warranty expired and advised that they could only give me a $49 credit for a new machine. I got maybe 10 cups of coffee out of the machine over the period of owning it. Avoid this machine/model at all costs. Not worth the trouble. It is essentially and expensive paper weight.

Save your money this machine is a failure and needs to be redesigned, the price keeps dropping because they can't even give it away.

Nespresso yourself !!

Since purchasing this machine my kids have been using it regularly. It works well, easy to use . They now choose to make their own nespresso and we find it more flavorful than anything we used to get at starbucks . It’s saving us big bucks! I am definitely glad we invested in it !

I can't start up this m/c.
