Machine broke down after 14 months

I purchased this product and the machine broke down after 14 months and dealing with the warranty department is a nightmare they won't give you an answer. They will always give you false promises to get you off the phone and then never follow up with you on anything. I tried to call them 3 times today to speak to a manager and each time they hung up the phone on me even though I was polite. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau so let's see where that goes but I would not purchase anything Delonghi after this experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine but returned it

Bought this and had to return because it was an used coffee machine and the store rep never told me.that, was disappointed when I opened the box and found the portafilter was full of gunk and oxide, brought the same machine from a local shop and I've been enjoying it!, I recommend it if you get it new!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Breaks Easily

Should have returned this while I had the chance. The knobs and controls are attached with cheap plastic that snaps even with normal use. I couldn't have been more careful using this machine and the knob still snapped off after less than two months, rendering the machine useless.
It looks shiny and nice, but it's still a cheap consumer appliance in most ways.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
