This Little Charger Keeps My Car Ready To Go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Vector VECBC2 on my car whenever I know I will be leaving it parked for more than a week. This little 2 Amp unit is fantastic for keeping the 12V battery fully charged so it never dies from sitting. It is totally automatic I just clip it on and forget it knowing it will not overcharge. It works perfectly for maintaining battery health and making sure the car starts right up which is exactly why I bought it. Just be aware that if your battery is already dead this thing is far too slow to bring it back quickly.

Keep your batteries charged!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a convenient battery charger. We used it on our 2 vehicles that do not get driven much to prevent the batteries from going bad. My only complaint is the clamps for the battery are small and feel cheap, so I don’t know how long they will last. Overall, this is a nice product to have for vehicles that don’t get driven.

Lifeline in a jam!

The battery charger works great but you have to remove the battery and have the charger plugged into the outlet. This is not something you change and use later. But can take it and if you are close to an outlet will be able to use it. In any case it could help you out of dead battery. Which would take at least 6 hours. Directions are marked clearly and anyone can follow them. Just plug and connect.

The compact design makes it easy to store, and the 2-amp charge rate is perfect for a slow, safe trickle charge when my car sits unused for weeks. Setting it up with the included clamps was straightforward, and it automatically switches to maintain mode once the battery is full, which gives me peace of mind. I’ve noticed it works best on batteries that aren’t completely dead, and the short cable can be a bit limiting, but for light use, it’s done the job reliably so far. It’s a practical, no-fuss addition to my garage!
