Stanley is a great brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good resource to have on hand in your home or garage to use on most vehicles to start up your vehicle without needing another person around. You do however need to be able to plug this in to use it & will likely need an extension cord to get from the outlet to your vehicle. Therefore this is not a great option to keep in the vehicle for use out & about. It is made nicely & I like the cord wrap areas for both the power cord & the jumper cables to keep it compact & organized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this charger is user-friendly! You just clamp it on, choose your battery type, and let it work its magic. It is great that it supports multiple battery types and even has a 100-amp engine start boost when you need it. The LCD screen is super clear, and the built-in safety features give me peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stanley FatMax BC100BF is a compact and versatile battery charger and maintainer designed for both lead-acid and lithium batteries. It’s aimed at users needing a reliable way to keep their batteries topped up, especially during periods of infrequent use. Here’s a breakdown of its key features:
* Charging Speed: The 1 Amp charging rate is best suited for maintaining smaller batteries, like those in motorcycles, ATVs, or lawnmowers. It's not the fastest for fully charging a car battery, but it's excellent for preventing discharge and sulfation over time.
* Durability: The unit feels robust, with a solid plastic casing that should withstand typical garage environments. The cables and clamps seem well-made, adding to the overall impression of durability.
* Compatibility: This charger works with both standard lead-acid (AGM, GEL, WET) and lithium-ion batteries, making it a versatile option for various vehicles and devices. The automatic detection of battery type is a convenient feature.
* Portability: Its small size and lightweight design make it easy to move around and store. The integrated hook allows for convenient hanging in the garage or shed.
* Safety Features: The BC100BF includes multiple safety features such as reverse polarity protection, overcharge protection, and short circuit protection. These features ensure safe operation and prevent damage to both the charger and the battery.
Conclusion: The Stanley FatMax BC100BF is a reliable and user-friendly battery charger and maintainer, ideal for keeping smaller batteries in optimal condition. Its compatibility with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, combined with its safety features, make it a solid choice for home use.
