Lost my channels

Before installation of this product I was receiving 25 OTA channels. After I installed the 4 port JUICE 4 unit and performed a rescan of my television, I lost 18 channels. I removed the JUICE 4 unit, performed a rescan of my television and regained my list channels. I do not recommend this product.

Hi Dano, we apologize you did not have a great experience with our JUICE 4 amplifier. If you are in a more urban area, or at a closer distance to the broadcast towers, there is a good chance you do not need an amplifier. Over-amplification can occur within a shorter distance to the towers and could very well make your reception worse. This could explain why the antenna without the amp performed better for you. After talking to Randy in support answering My questions I got the Juice 4 distribution amp and the 4v Antenna because I wanted signal to 4 Tv's .Mounted about 20 feet up outside I'm in valley about 30 and 50 miles from towers. I could not be more pleased I get 120 Channels no pixel break up. Thankyou for your help

First I had ordered in the DB8E antenna and after install,I was satisfied with the reception. Of course trying to find more channels, I ordered the Juice 4, as well as the VHF kit. Wow...after installing both, I had excellent reception of 47 channels. M previous antenna only picked up 21. Excellent performance. Very satisfied Antenna Direct.

I have an old roof mounted Yagi antenna, not a new fancy HDTV tuned one. Was only locking on 16 broadcast channels. Various web sources, include Antennas Direct, said I should be getting more. Removed two passive splitters in series (don't ask) and replaced with the Juice 4 powered distribution amp. Now getting 64 channels at the TV that is at least 60 feet down the coax line. Better, and cheaper, than climbing on the roof to replace the antenna.
