Lacking features & setup instructions are unclear

I purchased this lock after phoning to confirm it had the features I wanted. I specifically asked if it had proximity unlock, where it would unlock the door when I approached with my cell phone, and was told it did have that feature. After installing it, I tried to follow the instructions to set up the fingerprint, but they were so unclear I had to phone in to have them guide me through it. The doorbell video feature is quite useless too. If I am not home, I won't know if someone rings the doorbell. Even if I am home and hear it, by the time I unlock my phone, open the app and view the video they will likely have given up and left. I then asked how to set up the proximity feature and was told that the lock did not have that feature! It was one of the main reasons for purchasing such an expensive lock. Very disappointed! Don't waste your money. I could have bought a lock and separate video doorbell for less money and had the features I wanted but was misled by one of their customer service reps. Apparently Lockly only allows positive reviews on their site. They rejected this review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to install.

Was easy to install and once I understood the app and called the service desk it works well.
