[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock was very easy to install it took less then a hour to install. I love the features of this and love the application for your phone. I like how it has a doorbell ringer and a camera. I like how you get to see who is at your door and you can unlock from your phone. I love how this is well made and super strong. I like how easy it is to use the touch pad on this. I love all the features this has but my favorite one so far is if you forget to lock your door it will lock itself for you which makes it easy for when my teenager leaves the house and forgets to lock the door. I love also the 2 way speaker this offers and how I can speak to anyone that comes to my door without opening it this is a great device and love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy install, worked immediately, no problem with app, setting up different person assignments or Alexa. I like that I can remotely see who has been home and feel better that it locks automatically to secure the home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lockly vision smart lock and video door bell is one of the most advanced doorbell do it-all devices. It was very easy to set up. Took me about one hour. It can store up to 99 fingerprints and the scanner works pretty seamlessly. You can issue temporary and timed pass codes for visitors. The location of the numbers keep changing, even though the PIN is the same, so it's hard for people to just "guess" the code.
Video option is good to monitor package deliveries.

Truly Innovative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lockly Vision - Smart Lock + Video Doorbell is a really neat combination of smart lock and video doorbell. This was very easy to install for this less than handy person. It took about 20 min with watching the videos on how to do this with our standard door. Your finger is the key, gone are the days of a lost key or having to hide a key under the flower pot or rug. The 3D Biometric fingerprint sensor is crazy high tech and works really well. The touchscreen lock is peek proof, helping keep the code concealed from anyone prying eyes. It is compatible with smart home devices like my Alexa as well. You can remotely lock, unlock, and double check to make sure you locked your door remotely. There is also live video viewing and recording. There is no monthly subscription required to record videos locally unlike some other services. This product has so many features, I know I’m leaving some out, it literally is so high tech, high quality, and truly innovative. Highly recommend!

Vision designed with vision

Bought the Lockly Vision to replace my Schlage combination dead bolt lock and I could not be happier. I was waiting for the release of the lock design, because it sounded so great on paper. It is everything I expected; easy to install, lot's of cool features, great App. Works great. My new Vision is even located behind a glass storm door, and it still can see the visitor without issue. Glad I switched, and now my "old" Schlage combination lock seems so archaic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this video doorbell/lock! Installation was easy and went off without a hitch. The app is very easy to use and picture/video quality is awesome! Having functionality where we can use finger prints to open or remotely unlock our door is amazing!

All in one, in a beautiful package!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t be more impressed with the Lockly Vision Smart Lock and Video Doorbell, as it takes three things I had separately (with different softwares and connection points), and put them in one much more convenient package. It looks sharp, functions well, and keeps us feeling safe and secure.
First, the installation went smoothly. You can use the app to watch 3d animations for the install, but I used the printed instructions and found them clear and easy to follow. It took me an hour and 20 minutes or so at a leisurely pace, and I had no issues (I was replacing a previous deadbolt so I didn’t have to make any new holes.) The only thing I don’t love is the double sided tape that that attaches the sensor, only because I don’t know what removing it would look like as I’m considering replacing my current door. That said, it isn’t essential to the set up, but without it you lose one of my favorite features which I’ll touch on later.
So how does it function? In a word: well. Previously I’ve had Brand A video doorbell and Brand B coded doorlock with two different softwares and various connection issues at different times so it seemed like one of the prior products were malfunctioning, and as soon as I fixed the issue the other would would fail and need service. Now I have both of these products in one, and Lockly Vision handles them perfectly well (and I am only dealing with a single app and a single finicky wifi connection.) This alone makes the product well worth it!
But not only does it handle the video doorbell and coded doorlock better than my previous setup, it has added what has become our favorite way to enter the house, the fingerprint sensor. This thing works like a charm, stores 100 fingerprints (about 95 more than we need), and makes leaving the house an absolute breeze. The feature has worked without fail and is definitely the default method of getting inside (and especially for the little ones that have trouble remembering the code.)
The code is easily set up (with options for permanent and temporary codes), and too offers the ability to shuffle where the numbers will appear so as to fool anyone watching to memorize where you tapped. The plate does require a heavy press to “wake it”, but it too has proven foolproof. If all else were to fail, it does come with a keylock if you are feeling nostalgic.
The app itself is quite intuitive and I like it, and it is required to access all the features the lock offers. It will allow you to change codes, see who is at the door, and lock or unlock the door remotely, as well as many other features (the afore mentioned keypad numbering options amongst them.) You can also set it to auto lock the door, which is great for those with kids who are in and out. It allow allows two way talk if you’d rather speak to a visitor rather than invite them in.
The camera angle is quite wide, and it will begin to record when the doorbell is pressed or the lock is fiddled with. A nice feature is that it comes with a SD memory card so you don’t have to go shopping before you are up and running. The video handles the daylight perfectly, and the nighttime footage, which completely usable, tends to be a bit grainy.
Another favorite feature which I mention during set up is the door sensor switch that lets you know if the door is ajar. Too, there is a switch on the interior of the lock that can disable the keypad lock for added security, and will automatically shut off when you unlock it to leave the house
The hardware itself is satisfyingly heavy and well built (I was surprised by the weight of the box), and I expect it to last for a very long time. It looks sharp and modern without seeming clownish or drawing undue attention. It’s a demure product that is easy to be proud of. The metal was unblemished and smooth.
A very minor quibble in the name of transparency (and admitting I can’t offer a great solution), I wish the “doorbell” was easier seen or marked. I know there is an included badge to alert guests to the placement of the doorbell, but I don’t like the idea of a sign on my porch as the aesthetics of style are what I value most when new people approach my home. Again, most people figure it out in short order, so it is a small, tiny whispered complaint that I hesitate to mention considering all that I value about the lock itself.
I would prefer it had a motion detector in it, but again, it is minor, and considering out over sensitive many devices are with the technology, that feature can become quite a nuisance. Fortunately I have a camera installed that sees my porch, but if I didn’t I’d prefer the lock could fill the role as well.
It does take batteries (8) and they require a screwdriver to change, but it doesn’t burn through them super quick, considering the load they have to handle.
That said, I love the Lockly Vision and I certainly recommend it for its multiuse and simplicity!
