Great Optic

I run this optic on my Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0C Comp (using the Springfield Acro/Docter plate). I have a lot of time using the Aimpoint Acro P-2 so I wanted to try out the Steiner as it is very similar. The only researched down side with going to the MPS is that it has supposedly a shorter battery life, but has not been an issue for myself. Overall it is a great optic for the price, as it is durable, easy to mount and zero, maintains zero, and has very good glass.

Excellent Optic - Mounted on Beretta A300 UP

Mounted on a Beretta semi automatic shotgun. Maintains zero and stands up to the rigor of firing 12 GA buck shot. My only knock on it is the battery only lasts for about 6 months at a medium brightness setting and on full time.

Received a used optic

The optic has clear tooling marks on the screws, and wear marks on the body. They sent me a used optic.
On the bright side, the optic works great, the dot is clean and tight. Shoots well and seems to hold its zero. I think I like more than the trijicon rcr so far.
I’m pretty bummed it’s used, must be how they give us a “discount”. Wonder how long it will work for. I wouldn’t have purchased this if I knew it was used.

This was my first red dot and the Steiner MPS did not disappoint! Glass clarity and size are excellent and even with suppressor height irons I still feel like the field of view is good. Would absolutely recommend!

Clear glass, rugged durability (already dropped and endured 600 rounds of .357) and looks just like a decapticon 🤣

Price and features, combined with performance. This is my second MPS purchase and I’ve been carrying the first one for about three years now. The glass is excellent, the dot is crisp and clear, and the sight is very durable. The window is relatively large and the sight doesn’t give the “looking down a tunnel” effect that some closed emitter optics have.

Absolutely love this optic. I own more than a few of enclosed emitters, to include the "king" the ACRO. The MPS is by far better. It is more durable, has a better FOV, and the dot (to me) is crisper.
