Wicked Magical Wise Woman - Sun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful! At first glance I didn't think too much of this doll but after getting a good look at her I like her a lot! This character was a fun cameo and call back to Wicked's Broadway Musical with Idina Menzel as Elphaba. Honestly, I think the face sculpt here looks very much like the actress I just wish her head wasn't quite so big. She has a nicely done up face with blue(?) eyes and mostly neutral make up with a bit of silver that makes it shimmer. Good quality saran hair with at least two shades of brown and a cute hairstyle but her curls have product which makes them crunchy on the ends. Her outfit I think looks pretty nice, there are many layers of ruffles along the collar, shoulders and down the skirt of the dress that resembles flower petals, even more so with the peach color palette. I think originally this costume was a two-piece dress with a coat but in this doll version it is all one piece sewn together so that's a little disappointing. There is a nice variety of materials used including softer fabrics with printed patterns, what I think is laser cut tulle and maybe mesh with foiling, some stiffer satin which works well for the structure around the collar and some nicer mesh(?) for the sleeves and lastly there is a little plastic sun detail at the waist. They're not the highest quality materials from what I can tell, but they do have a nice variety of textures and are structured in a way that adds dimension to the outfit that looks pretty good. Her accessories include a double chain necklace with sun details in the same shimmery gold color as the charm on her waist, a gray handled scepter with a clear blue sphere atop, and what I think is a very cute pair of strappy closed toe high heels intricately designed with high backs, stars on the toes and a sun on the front of one shoe and a star and moon on the other in a pretty peachy orange color. She comes with the same green stand as the deluxe Elphaba dolls that has "Wicked" on it and a support bar that hugs the inner thighs. The box isn't much more than a box but I do like the graphics they used on it, personally I think she looks better out of it. Overall as I stated before I rather like her a lot and I appreciate having a doll in the likeness of such an iconic actress that I enjoy watching.

Beautiful doll with lots of poses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t wait to share the doll with my granddaughter. She loved the beautiful gown, shoes and necklace. …wish she had earrings as well. Favorite part of playing with the doll are the flexibility of the arms and hands. She can be positioned in so many different postures from the movie and actually can hold the wand by herself. The base is really cute although difficult to get the doll to stay upright.

A great addition for any fan

The attention to detail in her dress is amazing, the orange stripe at the base with the orange overlay makes her dress so pretty. The crystal ball wand and crown are great additions. She also comes with a stand for displaying her. My daughter loves alphabet and loves that she gets to add the original to her collection.

Fun Wicked addition

My daughter loves that the connection of the Broadway wicked and Elsa. The doll is very pretty and well made. Her wrists and elbows can bend. She holds the wand easily and her dress is very pretty and well made. She comes with a stand to keep her upright. Her hair is very ringlet curled in the back. Overall a fun doll especially for wicked fans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a very pretty doll but looks nothing like wicked or a Barbie. The dress is beautiful but everything use is not up to standard. If I was a wicked collector I wouldn’t purchase this item. Beside that it’s nice for a older kids told

Unlike some of the celebrity dolls you know exactly who it is by first glance. The unboxing was very easy and her hair was soft and stayed in place even after taking her out of the package. I think this doll is a beautiful representation of Idina.
