Lots of options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll kit comes with lots of options for play and styling. There are three different heads to switch out, four pieces of clothing (a shirt, skirt, pants, and bodysuit/bathing suit), two pairs of shoes, and also eight accessories (4 barrettes, a headband, a pair of earrings, a necklace, and sunglasses). A doll stand is also included. The heads are easy to swap out and the outfits are easy to change out as well. The curvy body is jointed for lots of range of motion however with so many joints the limited range of 3 options for the elbows is a shame. It would also be nice to have a comb come with the set to help with styling the hair. My seven year was thrilled to have so many options for styling and play, however she did need help switching out the head.

Barbie Basics You Create Kit Curvy 03 is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie Basics You Create Kit in Curvy is a very creative and interesting toy. It really held the interest of my almost 8 yr old who has many other Barbie toys. This is unique. The concept is to include one body, 3 different heads, multiple pieces of clothing and accessories, along with a stand to put Barbie in.
The child can make multiple different dolls by changing heads, and outfits and add different accessories. The barbie doll body is high quality, it's articulating and can be posed in multiple positions. That added to the interest of this kit. It would have been appreciated at this price point, if an additional body was included or available for purchase. One issue, we felt there weren't clear instructions as to how to change the heads. There were illustrations, but nothing written. We were cautious, we didn't want to "break" it. I deducted one star because of it.
I think this kit is unlike any other Barbie toy out there and it's a great addition to the Barbie Line. This kit felt like a step up from the regular Barbie doll and is priced accordingly. We have already started looking at what else this line has to offer. I feel I'll be purchasing more of the Barbie Basics!

Completely new and innovative Barbie set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This You Create Barbie set is a whole new Barbie experience unlike any other! It gives kids the opportunity to really make Barbie their own and style her in ways that weren’t previously possible! My girls love being able to easily switch her head so Barbie can have different hairstyles! We also love how the outfits are all coordinating so it’s easy to mix and match! Overall a very fun and exciting set!

Cool concept and more realistic body!

I really like that the doll is fuller figured and more closely resembles the actual women in her life and bodies that she is used to seeing. She has used the clothing, accessories, and different heads to make multiple different combinations of styles.

She absolutely loves the fact that she can create and build her own Barbie. She loves styling it and has literally spent countless hours playing with it. This doll is a must-have for Barbie fans and I absolutely love the realistic look of this Barbie! A+++

The 3 different heads and outfit combinations made for tons of play time. It was the first time in awhile she was so excited to open up a toy!

So Many Options!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Among modern dolls, Barbie is consistently the best. The quality is always top notch. The faces are perfectly printed and realistic looking, and the hair is flowing, fine, and lifelike.
This kit takes Barbie to another level, with even more realistic proportions reflecting a more normal, average female body. I love this for my daughter! The number of posable joints in this kit is incredible, and the included stand allows my daughter to pose her doll however she wants.
The included accessories are all really well made, and the clothing is perfectly sewn and proportioned.
Another fantastic Barbie doll, and one my daughter can aspire to!

3 Barbies in one kit! Awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter and I played with the Neutral Kit 003 Curvy Barbie for quite awhile in her room. We really liked the neutral color palette. There are shiny pants with cool pockets. Barbie could actually put her hands in her pockets! We had fun creating different looks for this curvy doll. It was hard to choose a favorite head. All three were very pretty. We decided the curly curvy girl was our favorite. The articulation on the doll was very hard to adjust. She is very stiff. I don't know if she will loosen a little with play, but I hope so. The only other thing I disliked about her was how hard it was to take off the heads. You really have to pull hard! It was fun to change the heads as many times as we wanted. It's so cool to have three Barbies all in one kit! The accessories were great too. I was happy that Mattel added the little rubber bands in the kit. We used them on the kitten heels to stay in place. We don't like when we lose a shoe, so it gave us confidence that we wouldn't lose one. She is fun to play with and we used the barrettes on her blouse for a little extra bling. It's cool that the accessories are versatile too!
