Excellent Antenna, looks good, easy to mount to bumper, works so much better than the Antenna that came with the radio and the ghost antenna more than likely due to size, tuning and a much better ground plane. Very happy with this antenna. Perfect pairing with the Midland MXT575, or MXT275 radios.

Due to rhino-lining the body of my 02’ Sierra, using a magnet mount for the whip antenna on my truck was a no go! Then Midland took a step further and noticed people require not only a tougher look, but another mounting option with a better GMRS connection.
The Micromobile MXAT03 Canyon Edge was one of the best options available, I NEVER LOSE CONNECTION!! Thank you Midland.

It's a good looking antenna, and I do seem to get somewhat better signal than I did with the little Ghost antenna. However, the Canyon Edge dances on my front bumper much more than I would have expected. If I am trailing or doing 100, okay; but 40 on smooth asphalt? Maybe the beefier models with stronger springs don't have this issue?

Great antenna very well made and definitely gives you good distance without a doubt. I was running a 6.5 DB antenna on a spring base. I recently went into the woods on an off-road hilly drive and found I was losing a lot of signal with it. I bought this antenna to correct that issue. The only thing that I do not like about it is when I received it. You cannot disconnect the antenna from the spring, which means I had to completely remove my other antenna base and install this one, which is a downside because I was looking for something to wear. I could screw the antenna off and screw another antenna on for switching on the fly.
