You can pretty much install this anywhere you want to on your vehicle since it's so small. Turns out it is about the same diameter as the rubber stops on the hood of a JK. I was really impressed with the overall quality and durability. Great range for the size.

This little antenna packs a punch. It's small, small enough that it will likely blend in wherever you mount it. I'm running one of my JKU and Power Wagon, both hood mounted locations. The JKU runs a MXT400 with the Ghost and the PW runs an MXT275 w/ Ghost. Both are clean and clear in use. Zero complaints.

Antenna is surprisingly heavy for its size and seems very well made. Reception is definitely better than the stock antenna.

Pretty Good Stealth GMRS Antenna

This is 1 of 2 antennas I use on a tall spare tire mount tower on my Jeep JK. The taller whip antenna plus lift, wont fit in my garage. So by default I leave the ghost antenna on for daily driving, and swap for the MXTA26 whip when offroad or for long trips. The ghost antenna doesn't have the range or the clarity of a whip and that shouldn't be a surprise. Its great for car to car simplex. It struggles a bit with reception from distant repeaters exhibiting a bit more fuzz and popcorn noise when mobile. I use both antennas with a MXT115 and proper PL to NMO cable and bracket mount.

I've been using the Ghost antenna for several weeks. I used the magnetic mount on the deck lid. I like the compact profile and unobstructed view. Goes through car washes with ease. The performance is just fine. I would recommend the antenna to all GMRS users.

I love the height of this antenna, as well as, not having the ability to bend it. This is a great solution you can hide about anywhere. The use of my radio only requires about 1-1.5 miles of range, so I mounted this INSIDE my Jeep on the roll bar; works really well. If I needed more range, I'd put it out on the hood or on the hardtop, but I roll with the top off all the time, so the antenna is exposed when the top is off and I'm well within my range requirements when the top is on. Highly recommend this antenna.

Mounted this little antenna on a Midland magnetic mount. I got a chance to use it last weekend on an overlanding trip in the Ozarks and it worked flawlessly! I'm SO happy with its performance. No feedback whatsoever and reception was very clear and static-free. I FULLY recommend this antenna. I plan doing this exact same setup in another one of my offroading rigs.
