Speed meets rugged

Game changer for the folks who like taking picture

The best part about this device is the speed of the camera is 10% faster. Lastly, you can use this with so many phones and even your laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Lexar Armor 700 1 TB Portable SSD for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become a reliable companion in my kit bag.
Size : I snapped a photo of it next to my Stanley to show how compact it is. Love that!
Speed that keeps up : This is what you would expect with a pro-grade SSD. With its USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface, the drive promises up to 2000 MB/s read and write speeds, meaning offloading those hefty RAW files or 4K video is almost instantaneous—if your computer has the right port, that is. if your laptop doesn’t have a Gen 2×2 port—and most don’t—you're limited to around 1000 MB/s, which is still fast but half the speed.
Durability : The IP66 rating means you don’t worry about light rain, or accidental splashes. And it’s supposedly drop proof as well. Thankfully, I haven’t tested that but Lexar claims up to 3 m of drop resistance.
Stays cool : After transferring massive files, the Armor 700 doesn’t get uncomfortably hot which means its thermal control design is doing its job.

I really like how slim and lightweight it is — easy to toss in my bag without taking up space. Feels sturdy too, so I don’t worry about it getting banged around. Definitely recommend if you need extra storage that’s fast and portable!
