I use it to find my phone and keys and I couldn't live without this. Its a great stocking stuffer. Its also a good gift if you play the elephant gift game. I am going to put one on my dog. Every time he hears the sound I will give him a treat. So every time I want him to come I just have to ring it and he will come.
The form factor is just right for us, I like that we do not need to purchase something else to attach the POPs to our key chains. Setting them up on the iPhone was almost as easy as AirTags, which is good enough for me, after that they work as well as AirTags, including sharing them with the rest of the family.
I prefer to not give apps permissions for location services, so it wasn't so nice that that is needed for Chipolos app to provide its services but I understand that that is probably needed. And most in our family do not really need the additional things from the app, so that is also fine by me.
And I also like that the Chipolos have a chip by my employer Nordic in them. ;-)
design is beautiful. I gave 4 star becaus e I have it since a month and haven't needed to find something yet. I also think the company should provide a set with key ring alongside the device, because it is not smth trivial do buy or have it left at home, and the chipolo POP needs one or smth similar to hang on the objetcts. I also have 2 others consideration: 1) thanks many meters for the app to tell me that I am "too far away" of the objetc; 2) one can save some address within the app, I thought this one could be saving points for the objects, and wouldn't ring the alarm on the app when I step back the object: for example, I park my bike at my place, and when I go away from it, the app rings an alarm when I am far away. If the bike is on my home address and this address is saved on the app, why it rings?
