Battery no longer holds a long charge

Received two of these batteries when at a time I was able to recycle an older gas operated lawn mower and receive a battery operated lawn mower, at first was great until the batteries started to lose a charge almost halfway of mowing and eventually could not finish mowing even after putting the first battery on the charger and not enough time allowed to fully recharge by the time the second battery lost it's charge and lawn still not finished.
Regretting having to buy another, or two, batteries wondering if after a short period of time the batteries will no hold a longer charge.

Not worth the price

This line of cordless lawn tools is not worth the price. Low quality and short life. I've gone through 2 batteries and one trimmer in just a few years with not real hard usage.

Won't Hold A Charge.

I purchased this battery & charger less than a year ago. Over the last month it has stopped holding a charge for more than 5 minutes after it comes off the charger. I am unsure what the problem is, but I wish I had bought a cheaper set. I would have done so if I knew this one would not be more durable. Judging from the few other reviews for this battery, I can see I am not alone. I gave a 2-star rating as I will say that I really enjoyed this battery with my B+D tools when I used it prior to these last few months.

Batteries Suck

Same as all the rest. Batteries will not keep a charge. I have 3 batteries and I still can not finish cutting the backyard. The batteries shows that it’s fully charged and then it’s down to one bar after a couple passes on the lawn. Unbelievable

Bad Battery won’t recharge

I bought the B&D String trimmer with this battery. Only one year of minimal use and battery no longer will recharge. Costs as much to buy a replacement battery as the original string trimmer with the battery. Probably won’t buy a replacement. Not a good value for your money

Battery Lost Charge

Last year I purchase a Black & Decker Trimmer/Edger that included the 40V Lithium battery (paid extra for the battery). It doesn’t hold a charge. I can only get half way around my yard before it has to go back on the charger.

Great power with 2.5amps! LED charge display lights does not work. You have to guess / always keep on charger.
