My first for a tablet and I love the protection it offers. The case was about a third the cost of the tablet, so it had better be very good. I also purchased a case for my Samsung phone. All in all I really like the cases, but still feel they are a bit over-priced.

If you value your electronics, don't skimp on the case! This Otterbox case for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is worth every penny! It's rugged, has a built in screen protector, protected ports and is able to be viewed hands free with the shield stand. We have 3 Galaxy phones and 3 Galaxy tablets in my home. They all wear Otterbox cases!

This cover gives my wife peace of mind letting the kids use her tablet for homework and such. Very solid construction and no concern of electronics falling out when dropped
on the down side, it is pretty bulky and a bit of a task to get in and out of so don't think you'll use it only when the kids need to use the tablet. the cover has a high and low angle "Stand" feature that only work in land scape. Would be nice for it to work in portrait orientation as well. Overa ll I am pleased with this as I am with all my other OB products
