I have small children - tablet has been dropped numerous times and down the stairs - and still in perfect condition - case and tablet!! Yes it is bulky - but for the protection it's worth it.

This is my 3th OtterBox for an iPad or a tablet. Batteries died in iPad & 1st tablet, was told they were not replacable!.
My iPad & tablet were dropped many times by my grandkids & survived.
OtterBox makes me feel comfortable with lugging my electronics around in suitcases/backpacks. Researched OtterBoxes that are available for tablets prior to buying the new tablet as I would only buy a tablet that there was an OtterBox for!
My daughter said I HAD to buy an OtterBox because, in her opinion, my grandkids aren't the only ones dropping my electronics!!
Have an OtterBox on my cell phones.
