It's a very nice large monitor that runs my HP 17inch laptop. HDMI 1 is defective. So it took me for ever to setup when I received it. I was just about to send it back when, I decided, why not check out HDMI 2. Which worked immediately! So I'm happy with the monitor for my purposes; I had no expectation to use both HDMI ports. Just frustrating that I couldn't get it to work initially and almost sent it back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this monitor to replace an HP 23vx that worked intermittently with my new HP Elite Mini 600 G9 Desktop. I also got rid of my 8+ year old speakers sitting on my desk. So far the new monitor works as expected. No the new speakers do not have high quality sound, but they work great for watching YouTube and Face Book videos. The monitor is much clearer than my old monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for 2 reasons.
One being to have less stress on my eyes. That remains to be seen as it is new, but at least it seems good so far
The other is that many new monitors have stands that sit up high and are not adjustable vertically. I have a limited space on my desk and the adjustable stand really helps!
