A must-have for Winter

I'm a very sun-oriented person, and am very sleepy when the sun is not up. Makes getting to work in the winter extra difficult, as the sun sometimes doesn't even come up until I have to be at work! After a long time a research, this is what I settled on.
The light mechanism is awesome. You can change how bright it gets. Since it's gradual, I wake up to almost full light, which makes it harder to fall back asleep. I don't really like the alarm sounds it has, so I use a more pleasant phone alarm to go off shortly before the the birds go off, which works for me. The best part is, the light doesn't glare on my partner when I'm getting ready - no needing to wake him up with bright lights when I need to get clothes out of the dresser.
I don't use it as much in the summer since the sun gets up earlier than the alarm, making it unnecessary, but I'm not sure how I got through winter without it!
Pros: gradual light doesn't wake sleeping partners, can change amount of brightness, makes winter awakening much easier
Cons: alarm sounds get annoying, not quite right for a bedside reading lamp

The function buttons stopped working, so can't reset time or alarm time, making it useless.

Life changing

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my wife 4 years ago to counter the long Canadian winter, and her general anger of waking up in the dark. My mornings and general zest for life have improved. Happy wife, happy life?? You need this in your life!
I've been spreading the gospel of this product for years; I lend it to people for them to try. Its that good.
Get off your wallet and buy one of these.
Pros: not waking up angry at the world

Waking to gradual light starts my day off right. Each year the time change seems to make waking up difficult. With this product gradual light will increase for thirty minutes prior to actual alarm time. I typically wake before the actual alarm sounds, due to the light....Love this product, wished I had known about it earlier

This is the best alarm clock I have ever owned. It makes waking up in the morning so much more pleasant. I love the the gradual brightening of the light so much so, I don't really even need the alarm part of it, but I do have it set up for the singing birds just in case I should fall back to sleep. This is a great product and I am very happy with it. I would recommend this to anyone who hates waking up to a sudden loud alarm or clock radio. I know I will especially love this in the winter time when it is dark in the mornings!

The best way to wake up on a work day!

I love this product! During the winter months, it's dark out when I have to get up. Waking to the light is such a gentle way to start the day - much better than a bleeting alarm clock. I'll never go back to a traditional alarm. Worth every penny to me.

Waking up early in the morning was always hard for me when the alarm went off. This light has made it much easier to gradually wake up with light. My mornings start much better now.
