I actually received this Filtrete Filter as a review product, but I’ve been using Filtrete filters in my home for years because they’re truly the best. They do an amazing job at trapping dander, dust, and pollen, which makes a huge difference for my asthmatic family and our common seasonal allergies. The air always feels cleaner and easier to breathe, and swapping them out is quick and simple. Even though this one was sent for review, I’m already a loyal customer, and I’ll keep buying them because nothing else compares!

I was impressed with how easy this filter was to install—no hassle, just a simple slide-in fit. The 20x25x1 size is perfect for my system, and the construction feels sturdy compared to cheaper brands I’ve tried. After just a few days of use, I noticed the air in my home felt cleaner and lighter, with less visible dust settling on surfaces. As someone with pets and seasonal allergies, that makes a huge difference.
This filter is designed to last up to 3 months, which I find very convenient. It’s rated at 700 MPR (Microparticle Performance Rating), so while it’s not the highest-end option, it strikes a nice balance between airflow efficiency and capturing dust, pollen, and pet dander. My HVAC system ran smoothly with no extra strain.
Overall, I think this is a great mid-range filter that does what it promises. If you have pets or allergies and want cleaner air without overworking your system, I’d definitely recommend trying the Filtrete 700.
