Does not work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought two smart filters, one stopped pairing with the app after about 2 weeks the second would not even pair. I am sure the actual filter is great but I paid for the smart feature and neither one has worked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Missing Date Block

Disappointed white "date installed" block removed from end of filter. In the past, you could write the date you installed the new filter on the end of filter as a reminder for the next replacement. Now, the end on the 2400 is almost completely dark blue. :-(

I've used these for many years, and while I do see that the filter has captured quite a lot by 3 months, I still smell the downstairs tenant's smoke. Also, and *much* more importantly, I am truly weary of the poor fit of these filters. I have to bend and crush the 14" width to get it in. The 25" length seems too long, and the 24" too short by *more* than an inch! I'm concerned that the gap with the 24" will allow unfiltered air in to ruin the unit. Should I worry about one inch? In any event, these filters should not require twisting and bending to install.
