Disintegrates under UV light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed a UV light in the cold air return to kill mold & freshen the air and went to change it after 3 months. The center of it was disintegrated letting unfiltered air flow freely. These filters are way too expensive to not stand up to what is now a common addition in air conditioners.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

CFM Rating @ what FPM ??? / Causes drainage issues

How in the world are we supposed to work out the engineering on these with the CFM calculation posted? Filter has a range for Water Column and CFM but does not say at what FPM. Feels like that and MERV rating in general are obscured on purpose. Too much resistance for residential system, causing negative pressure to be satisfied in part by condensate line exit, causing water to be sucked back into unit and splatter everywhere but drain line.

No measurable difference

I bought these filters as they are size compatible and I have allergies (and two dogs.) Haven't noticed any significant difference in the reduction of dust and have just as much sneezing as the regular, less expensive ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have a newly built home and have used filtrate filters for years. the filters have always performed well and help keep dust to a minimum in the home. If i had a complaint or negative it would be the way it fits in ceiling return air space. The filter the builder used was a 12x24 of a different brand and it fit fine. The Fitrete of same size has to be wedged in and even crumpled up in a corner to fit.
I would recommend this to a friend!
