Cleaned forest fire smoke well beyond safe levels

Outside, air quality was 300-1100 (off-the-scale and very hazardous) with smoke hanging in the air like dense fog. Inside, the indoor air quality monitor says the air is very clean (AQI 23). This is with running the furnace fan continuously and changing filters every 3-4 weeks. The only downside is the smart filter feature doesn't actually know when the filters are dirty, only how much air volume has gone through them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic filters, read desc for full info

For those who buy this and don't seem to understand how restrictive these filters can get (higher number=less airflow), here's what you need to know. For furnaces that are 20+ years old, only use UPTO a Merv 8 or MPR 1000 filter, that way the old (or new) blower motor won't be under too much strain and cause issues. If you're furnace is between 10-20 years old, these newer furnaces have much stronger motors and you can safely use UPTO a Merv 12 or MPR 1900 filter without them being too restrictive. Finally, just about anything made in the last 10 years should have no problem running UPTO a Merv 14 or MPR 2800 filter.
Something to keep in mind is that this is based on using the most common 16x25x1 filters, if you have enough room to fit a 16x25x4 filter (even if you have to remove the guide bars), then at that point you can safely do Merv 11 or MPR 1200 on a 20+ year old furnace, UPTO Merv 14 or MPR 2800 on 10-20 year old furnace, and UPTO Merv 16 on a furnace made in the last 10 years.
As for the very short review of this particular filter, I'd rate it 5/5 stars. MPR 2200 works perfectly on my DIY box fan air filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these Healthy Living 2200 filtration level filters for a long time. I have 2 cats and wanted to deal with their dander and shedding. I must admit that from time to time I wondered if they were really worth the price, as they aren’t cheap. I now have an answer to that wonder. I had a kitchen fire recently that resulted in a lot of damage to the kitchen, and smoke damage to the whole house. Once things calmed down, I thought about my air conditioning unit. I thought of all of that smoke being sucked into the unit and was petrified to check the air conditioning returns. When I opened the first cover my heart sank when I saw the filter, as it confirmed the serious nature of the damage. It was totally black with clumps of debris all over it. When I pulled the filter out and flipped it over, I was totally shocked at how well the filter worked! There was very little black residue to be seen!! I became a believer in that moment. I will never question the value of this filter again and I am a customer for life!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Makes Air Liveable for COPD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Filtrete Filters for the 12 years I've lived in this house. When I had cats, they did such a remarkable job that when you walked in the house, you didn't get hit with a "kitty" smell. Now, I depend on these to keep my air breathable all year long in Florida's heat and humidity. No Problem, and my A/C is 14 years old. I don't know what I would do without these Healthy Living Filters....
