Makes a HUGE difference in allergy suffering!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This last spring, I purchased a pkg of 3 2200 Healthy Living filters, changed every 3 mo. or less, and just installed 3rd one. My allergies to dust, mold, etc.in the house are rarely noticeable now, since I began using this higher filtration filter. (Even on days when it was clear out & I aired out / cooled the house in the early morning hours by opening the windows for an hour or so.) We also had a terrible year of forest fires, bringing in some days with actual warnings of "unhealthy air". It was difficult on those days for anyone to breathe outside without using high particulate filtration masks; however, I did not have a single day of smoke smells or allergy reactions while in my home. I highly recommend this filter to anyone with such issues. Great job!!

Cleaner Air

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy these because all occupants are allergic to things, but, each one's allergies are a little different. These filters work for all of us. We sneeze less, cough less, and don't have to dust furniture and décor as often.

Most affordable allergy reduction product!

I have always had a hard time with indoor allergies and my allergist has always recommended a whole house filtration unit. This product has saved me that HUGE investment, as it reduces indoor allergens so well. I have 2 dogs and noticed the positive change immediately after replacing my standard air filter. FANTASTIC PRODUCT for an affordable price! Remember, you will pay more now and PAY LESS LATER when you need less antihistamines to get through the day.

I use these filters and they really work! Both of us have allergies and we noticed a big difference in the way we could breathe without coughing or sneezing all the time once we started on this filter. What a difference it made!!! This is the only filter for us!!! Thanks!

Vital for Smoke from Wildfire season

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these with a box fan to bring cool night air into my apartment, while filtering out the smoke particles from the wildfire smoke being blown into my area.
They come in a number of sizes that allow you to open a window to a minimum, and keep the worst of the air pollution out. I use a 20x20 and a 20x25 to cover a 20x45 opening.
Once, overnight, the air quality unexpectedly went from mod to unhealthy, and my apartment was filled with smoke. Ran my fan with the filter after closing all the windows, and it cleared it up.
I advise all my co-workers to use this method, and filters, to protect their lung health.

low flow after 2 weeks

Perhaps it is just that my air unit isn't strong enough but this reduces flow to the point that I can't hold a set temperature in my home after only 2 weeks.

Only Filtrete!

Then my wife found a coupon for a multipack of filtrete brand filters on the same day that the ads came and I saw my hardware store had them on sale. It's like it was meant to be. We noticed the difference in the first couple weeks. The kids noses cleared up and there was noticeable less dust in the house. I of coarse still look for a deal but only for Filtrete!
