Very happy with these filters. They are easy to install and work great in my desert Southwest home where we get lots of wind that carries dust and pollen.

Size Not As Advertised

The actual dimensions of the 16 X 25 X 4 are advertised as 15.88 in x 24.56 in x 4.31 in. However, the actual depth of the filter is only 15.44 (15 7/16) in as seen printed on the filter. This leaves a gap on top of the filter that the air can circumvent rendering the filter fairly worthless.

Longevity disappointments

Although I like & have to have this filter for my house HVAC system, I find that I am changing the filter every month NOT the 3 mos it is supposed to last. I did let one set go approx 45 days, but found the old filters collapsed into the vent due to the lack of air able to pass through. They do clean the air that passes thru, but definitely NOT for 3 months! I would seriously consider another filter if available, at least to have comparison...more to follow if I do find one/some.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a few months ago and its amazing the difference this product makes vs. competitors...It's like night and day. Breathing the air in your home after installing this makes it worth every penny.

This is a very good quality filter. It does a fantastic job of filtering out allergens and dust. With routine filter reminders from Filtrete, the heating/AC unit does not have to work as hard either.
