The fan was very easy to install and looks great. The reason for my three star review is because the receiver has a very small range in order for the remote to work. Had I known how limited the range is, I would have kept my existing fan.

Sleek and simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good looking fan and the remote access not only makes for simple changes but also removes the need for chains, which adds to the overall look for the fan. Installation was simple and straight forward. I do wonder what happens if you lose the remote...... I guess I'll probably deal with that some day down the line.

Hunter falls short

Just received the Georgetown fan today. Installs very easily which is the good news. Bad news is that the wobble free fan wobbles at high speed and the distance for the remote is really short. If I stand up, the remote works. If I lay in bed, I must push it several times to get the light or fan on or off

Nice fan but wobbles

I’d put this fan in the alright category. Yes it is super super easy to install but dang this remote signal sucks. I have two of the fans installed and both of them are horrible with the remotes. The built in receiver makes its hard to pick up I guess. There is no use in having a remote if you have to point it at the fan and walk around for it to work.
Also it’s boring that the only color option is the single warm color temperature, I wouldn’t even mind paying for a different color option but it’s not changeable and it’s not that bright. Simply an alright fan but for the price there are better options out there.

I bought this fan for our living room. Very nice fan. Quiet and powerful. The blades match our gray wood flooring. We ordered another one for the bonus room upstairs. Very easy to install!
