I live in an apt. that is full of dust. I dont use there filters they collect nothing. But when I use the clean living filter it is black when I change it.

Clean Living filters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had a blower motor go bad on my AC unit. When the repair man pulled the motor out he commented on how clean the blades were, no dust build up. I change Filtrete Dust Reduction every 6 to eight weeks.

Causes furnace to overheat

During heating season, I need to replace this filter every month as any dust contamination at all will decrease airflow enough that my furnace overheats. I've had the furnace looked at to ensure it is operating properly, and it is. The tech's in each case have shown the problem to be the Filtrete pleated filters by replacing them with different brands. This incredibly short lifespan of these filters make them cost prohibitive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
