Stylish range hood with self clean function

?I have had this range hood for almost 3 months. I actually compared it with lots of other brands at different prices range. At this price range, this ine has the most functions and very stylish. I saw some of the previous reviews told that the clock wont show normally after some time. Mines is good till now. The sunction power is good just the noise would be loud when you adjust it to the highest level. There are 6 levels that you can choose. Basically I LIKE IT.

Defective Unit recieved

First two hood came with damaged so had to return.Third hood arrived perfect.Installation takes two people and went to homedepot to buy addtional hardware to beef up the mounting.So far, used it for 1 year and I LOVE IT.Asolutely wonderful suction power. Although you do need to crack a window open for make up air to flow into your house. It will make your AC run a lot harder but I think it's worth the trade off to get the cooking smell out.You really need to crack a window in the room to allow air replacement. This may cause AC/heater to run harder and thus increase you electric bill. This is just a trade off you have to make to get rid of greasy smell.

Love our new range hood!

Issues:- 1) One of the measurements of the holes (distance between holes) for installation showing on the diagram was wrong. It shows 26" but it's actually 27". Which happened that the old one that I removed was exactly the same with this new range hood. Which then become easier for me to replace the old one.- 2) Other issue that I found was that the clock seems to be a lot faster than normal and its military time (24 hrs). Which I already knew before I ordered this product by reading all the comments on its review page.Problem solved:I did call the tech support about the clock issue. Calvin, Tech Support responded to me right away. He did sent me the new replacement part and the instructions.- I finally got the chance to replaced the part after a week of having the part. After I installed the new part, I already noticed that the clock is set to 12 hrs instead of military time (24 hrs). Which I really wanted- Then, 1 day later, I also noticed that the time is now running normal.* Now, Everything is good and my wife is very happy about it cause of the strong suction plus the clock!

Can't feel the heat

This thing sucks, like really sucks all the air out that I can't feel any heat from my 18000 BTU burner cooking food in front of me. It's surreal to watch food turn from raw to cooked in front of you without feeling the heat.I was deciding between all three under cabinet range hood models offered by Hauslane kitch when I read somewhere from the manufacture claiming that this hood was designed to maximize the ability to trap smoke and it makes a lot of sense to me as the smoke rises to the top will spread out naturally and the square shaped filter slits will then suck them into the fan. Because this unit has wider filter slits compared to a more common baffle filters, airflow will be higher on those slits and the suction force will be more concentrated on the edge of the filter where most smoke will be.Anyhow, I'm not an aerodynamic engineer but my experience so far with stir frying Chinese food under this hood has been flawless. I have yet to use the auto cleaning function but the videos on this page is very straight forward with explaining how it works.

I love this range hood! I normally cook everyday for my family. But my old Broan range hood is very weak. Everytime I cook, the smell of food filled our entire home. It gets in our living room and bedroom. Doesn't matter when I shut the door or not. My kitchen cabinet and ceiling get sticky from the grease. It made our daily cleaning very troublesome. Ever since we switched to this Hauslane PS10 range hood, it changed my life! No smell, no grease, and no cleaning the cabinet everyday. This range hood is very powerful that when I make stir-fried dishes, the living room won't smell a thing!My few other friends bought from the same brand and they like it. They have very good customer service, especially Stanley. He was very patience with me and he took my calls on weekends.

Good Cooktop Range, Lights are bright

Venting is good, multiple speeds, seems to be working well. Lights are bright and touchpad so far works well, we will see how it holds up based on other reviews. Only issue I had is that the adaptor to connect to your venting is somewhat short and barely poked though my cabinet base and was hard to get the venting to attach to it. Less than a 1/4 inch of it was able to be mounted to so it need some good ducting tape. Maybe that's just my house but this was a standard set of cabinets. Other than that, works well so far.

Excellent Exhaust hood. More than expected,worth of price.

What a Hood Exhaust. Must say more than expectations. Its been more than month now. I must say its really good one. I did my whole kitchen renovate and Making everyday indian food with spicies I was worried about having durable good quality hood exhaust with higher CFMs. Have to say so far we hardly went up higher speed from three speed selector. The lower speed is more than enough and didn't needed higher speed so far. Definitely recommend this one. ONLY ONE THING ITS VERY HEAVY AND NEED TWO PERSON TO INSTALL. But im happy after installing.
