It’s ok for the price

My comments as follows:
1.Installation instructions are not clear. No layman can install you need skilled guy.
2. Fan noise is too loud.
3. There is no way you can turn off either fan or light when both are on. The only option is You turn of completely and turn on light or fan which is not good. Company can make changes.

fan exhausts as advertised

Overall, a good buy. I'd probably give it a 4 1/2 if a half star was allowed. It replaced a Broan that was a complete waste of money as a hood fan (but now is working well as an exhaust fan on a sanding table in my shop).
On the plus side, the fans exhaust wonderfully. The smell of cooking bacon, a good test of a hood fan, no longer extends beyond the immediate vicinity of the range. The stainless steel baffles are easy to remove and reinstall, and they fit nicely in the dishwasher. Condensation drains down the angled baffles to a collection trough, so there's no dripping. The trough is easy to remove and reinstall also.
There are a few things I'd change if I could. First, it would be very helpful if there were a drilling template for the mounting screws. The corrugated shipping box already is printed; adding a template for the screw locations would not add any cost, and it would make installation much easier. I had to go to the website to get a drawing with the locations marked--there wasn't one in the package.
The built-in LEDs emit a very blue light. This contrasts rather jarringly with my under-cabinet lighting, which is considerably warmer. It would be very nice if they could be replaced.
The lights have two levels of brightness. When you turn them on, the lowest level is first. This level is really not bright enough to cook with, so you have to select the brighter level. It would be nice if it came on brighter to begin with. This isn't a big deal, but it's a design feature that could easily be improved.
A similar issue is that turning the fans off automatically invokes the variable delay cutoff feature. I'd be fine with that being an optional feature. Again, not a big thing, but it would have been easy to implement at the design stage.
And finally, I'd very much like it to have a lower speed available, so if I do have a hot pan after cooking and want to keep the fan on a bit, it could continue to run at a lower (and quieter) level.

Solid hood vent

The hood vent is decently quiet and effective at getting rid of smoke as we cook. We do most of our cooking on the stove top so it was important for us to find a hood vent that could keep up with our cooking style. It is compact and was relatively easy to install. For the price point, I would have liked a hood vent/microwave combo like what we had installed previously, but all in all, it's a good product.

Great Hood!

This hood has been great, we replaced an over the range microwave and the smoke alarm
hasn’t gone off since. Installation was a little tricky because I don’t have jacks but we managed to get done.

Was a little hesitant about ordering online and not being able to see product beforehand. When we
received product and opened box all worries went away. Excellent color match for our new LG
appliances. Some reviews complained about fan noise, but we are pleased with everything about this
product. Fan timer is great and lights really light up our stove. Pictures did show a clock but ours
does not seem to have one. No worries though plenty of clocks in kitchen.

Great amount of suction and light. Super easy to take apart and clean. If I had one complaint, the angle of the unit looks a bit off; however, I think it helps improve the performance of it. Overall love it and will be buying another one shortly for another property.

(PS 10) not so hard to install, but not easy; great air movement

I really like this unit, moves copious amounts of air and looks good doing it! Install was not easy, but managed to do with my just me, my 100lb wife and 12 yr old son. No, not easy, and required an extension for the drill, but we managed it just fine (and I am not a handy-man). Deducted 1 star as the lights are not very bright at all on high. Low is a good level, but not high. not sure I can replace them, but if I can, I'll add another star.
