I bought this a few weeks ago. At 900CFM it 's certainly a bit noisy then my old one. But that old one was only 450CFM. So it's normal. It work great. The light is make really clear to see what you do on the stove. I'm really happy with this unit.

I HAVE USED MY HOOD FOR JUST OVER A YEAR. I LOVE THE LOOKS AND THE FUNCTION. THE LOW FAN IS JUST A BIT NOISY AND IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE "LAMPS" WERE JUST A BIT BRIGHTER BUT ITS MUCH BETTER THAN ANY OTHERS WE LOOKED AT.

Extremely loud!

Extremely loud! Best part of always turning it off.
It looks great in our kitchen, which is why I bought this, I liked the design. But even in lowest setting it is so loud, like stressfully loud. We hesitate to use it actually and are always relieved when we turn it off. Not even convinced it’s super effective for how loud it is. I have an air purifier in the room that always detects poor air quality even when using this in the higher setting (which sounds a bit like a 747 taking off)
